The Wodonga Solar Farm is a 3MWdc solar project located near Albury, Victoria.

Tranex Power was engaged by Photon Energy to deliver the piling, mechanical, and module installation scopes. The works were executed as a coordinated package, requiring efficient sequencing of foundation installation, tracker assembly, and PV module mounting to maintain programme momentum and optimise site productivity.

The project presented a compact, high-intensity construction schedule, where careful planning of logistics and resources was essential to ensure scope completion within the required timeframe. Tranex Power’s delivery approach emphasised installation quality and alignment accuracy across the NX Horizon trackers to support long-term performance and minimise future maintenance requirements.

Successful completion of Wodonga Solar Farm demonstrates Tranex Power’s capability to deliver integrated construction packages across foundation, mechanical, and module installation disciplines. The project reinforces our reputation as a reliable delivery partner for small-to-mid scale solar developments across Victoria and the broader Australian market.

Rigorous On-Site Planning

The client required a reliable solution to power a water treatment plant. Challenging site conditions and poor material management threatened progress, but Tranex Power implemented rigorous onsite planning and held regular coordination meetings with the client.

By proactively managing logistics, optimising material flow, and driving solutions in real time, we transformed a risky situation into a smooth, efficient delivery, ensuring the plant could operate reliably from day one and maximising the value of the client’s investment.
