Tranex Power were awarded this project by Downer, due to our extensive experience with Array Technologies Tracker System and our exemplary Safety Record.

The Ross River Solar Farm (developed by ESCO Pacific) consists of 4456 ArrayTechnologies DuraTrack® single-axis trackers and 417,662 PV modules.

The Ross River Solar Farm will generate approximately 250,000 megawatt hours (MWh) of clean and renewable electricity into the national power grid each year, thereby making a major contribution to Australia’s greenhouse gas reductions. This reduction will be equivalent to taking either 70,000 cars off the road or planting 250,000 trees, producing enough electricity to power approximately 43,000 homes with renewable energy.

Night Works

Tranex Power managed construction during extreme heat conditions, working closely withthe client to develop strategies that mitigated temperature-related risks. PV module installation was scheduled at night to maintain productivity and protect the workforce, helping keep the project on programme. Despite challenging ground conditions, key SMEs were engaged to assist with pile design and remediation works. Through careful planning, specialist input, and innovative scheduling, the project was completed on time and achieved a record number of trackers installed in a single week.
