Due to very difficult ground conditions, Tranex Power were engaged to complete the Pre-Drilling and Piling scope on the Kadina Solar Farm, consisting of 2,281 piles.
The Kadina Solar Farm will generate approximately 20,600 megawatt hours (MWh)per annum of clean, renewable electricity, thereby making a major contributionto Australia’s greenhouse gas reductions. This reduction will be equivalent totaking either 5,700 cars off the road or planting 3,500 trees, producing enoughelectricity to power approximately 4,400 homes with renewable energy.
At Tranex Power, we applied our proven pre-construction and early works methodologies to identify critical site challenges before they could impact the project. Extensive site investigations confirmed the requirement for pre-drilling. Rather than accepting delays, we implemented onsite batching of cement-stabilised sand - a practical, innovative solution that overcame challenging ground conditions while keeping the project on schedule and within budget. By translating early insights into real-world solutions and executing with precision, Tranex Power delivered the project safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This project demonstrates why Tranex Power is the trusted partner for complex solar developments, consistently delivering results that others cannot.
