The Coleambally Solar Farm is a 6.08MWdc project located in Coleambally, New South Wales.
The project scope comprised piling, mechanical installation, and PV module installation, with a total of 9,568 modules installed across the site. The works were executed across multiple work fronts, requiring careful planning to maintain efficiency and quality.
Tranex Power was engaged by Green & Gold Energy to deliver the construction scope. The project was completed in record time, demonstrating Tranex Power’s ability to coordinate complex civil and mechanical works while adhering to strict programme, safety, and quality standards.
Throughout construction, the team maintained schedule discipline and installation accuracy under local site conditions, ensuring precise alignment of modules and mechanical systems. This efficient execution supported a seamless transition into commissioning and operational readiness, allowing the solar farm to begin supplying renewable energy into the local network without delay.
The project was executed at a pace well above industry norms, while maintaining tight construction discipline. Despite the accelerated schedule, the client reported an exceptionally low defect profile—far below what is typical for a fast-track program. This combination of speed and quality enabled early energisation, allowing the asset to enter service ahead of its commercial timeline and unlocking earlier-than-forecast revenue for the client.
