Procurement

Procurement at Tranex is structured to maximise cost efficiency without compromising delivery. Under our SmartBuild model, we guide and support EPCs to procure their own materials - leveraging their existing supplier networks - while we provide oversight, technical alignment, and strategic input to ensure quality, compliance, and overall project value are maintained.

Design

Tranex will take projects through to a fixed-cost plan, align procurement and logistics, support contract sign-off, and finalise a fully coordinated Issued for Construction (IFC) drawing set ready for execution.

Early Works

Early Works focuses on validating ground conditions and de-risking the build phase, typically through pile testing and site investigations. This enables informed design finalisation, accurate cost planning, and a smoother transition into full construction.

Logistics

Logistics is managed to ensure materials and equipment are delivered efficiently and in line with construction sequencing. We coordinate planning, scheduling, and site interface to minimise delays, reduce handling risks, and maintain continuity through delivery and installation.

Diesel Generators

Diesel generator installation and integration, including positioning, mechanical and electrical connection, fuel system setup, and testing, delivered to provide reliable temporary or backup power for site operations and commissioning activities.

DC Electrical

Cable installation, string connections, terminations, and testing, completed in accordance with design requirements to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable system performance.

PV Module Install

PV module installation across solar arrays, including layout, fixing, alignment, and QA/QC to ensure correct placement, compliance, and installation integrity.

HV Electrical

High voltage electrical works for solar projects, including HV cable installation, terminations, testing, and commissioning support, delivered to meet grid connection requirements and ensure system integrity through to energisation.

Survey

Survey provides accurate spatial and condition data to support design, construction, and verification activities. We deliver precise site measurements and control information to ensure alignment between design intent and on-site execution, reducing rework and improving build accuracy.

Civil

Earthworks, foundations, and supporting infrastructure, executed in accordance with design intent to ensure stability, compliance, and readiness for subsequent installation phases.

Pre-Drilling

Pre-Drilling is carried out to prepare ground conditions ahead of foundation or piling activities. It reduces installation resistance, manages subsurface variability, and improves constructability - supporting safer, faster, and more controlled foundation installation.

Piling Installation

We provide pile installation services for solar farm foundations using dedicated piling machinery capable of installing piles up to 6.0m in length with outside dimensions up to 200mm x 200mm.The service includes initial pile location survey, pile height design, layout and distribution, pile driving, and full QA and as-built data collection to ensure compliance with design tolerances and construction requirements.

SAT Mechanical Installation

We deliver mechanical installation of solar tracker systems to ensure accurate assembly, alignment, and readiness for commissioning.This includes unpacking and distributing materials, pre-assembly where required, installation of brackets and centre/slew structures, torque tube and couplers, tracker alignment, module rails, and dampers (if required), followed by final QA/QC of each tracker row to ensure full compliance with design tolerances.

BESS

Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installation, including mechanical and electrical integration, cabling, connections, and testing, delivered to support safe operation, system performance, and integration with site generation and grid requirements.

Security Fencing

We deliver installation of perimeter security fencing to establish controlled site boundaries and protect construction assets and infrastructure.

HV Connection

High voltage connection works for solar projects, including interface with the grid network, cable terminations, testing, and commissioning activities required to safely achieve energisation and connection to the network.
