Tranex Power delivered the Carawatha Solar Farm, integrated with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), with trademark precision and reliability. Despite its compact scale, the project demanded exacting standards - standards Tranex met with ease.

From pile driving and tracker installation through to final commissioning support, the Tranex Power team executed every phase with speed, safety, and quality at the forefront.

The Carawatha Solar Project now provides enough renewable electricity to power over 2,000 NSW households each year, while also delivering grid‑stabilising capability through its integrated BESS units.

This project is the first in a series of sub‑5 MW (AC) projects that Tranex Power is constructing for a valued client with an extensive renewable portfolio. The client recognised and appreciated Tranex Power’s “hassle‑free, solution‑oriented” approach, highlighting the team’s commitment from design inputs through to commissioning scopes.

Innovative Construction Methodologies

Tranex Power successfully delivered the first project within CPE’s 5 MW portfolio, implementing innovative construction methodologies and leadership practices that enhanced performance, productivity, and execution certainty. Key approaches trialled on this project include disciplined construction sequencing, optimised material staging, and efficient equipment utilisation - proved highly effective and have since been adopted across CPE’s remaining portfolio.

The project set a benchmark for delivery standards, demonstrating Tranex Power’s ability to introduce practical innovations that improve both efficiency and safety on large-scale solar projects.
