The Wellington North Solar Farm is a 424MWdc utility-scale solar project located in Wellington, New South Wales.
The project deploys PVH Axone Duo single-axis trackers paired with Tiger Pro / Bifacial 550–570 W 72HL4-BDV modules, with a total of 750,176 modules installed across the site.
Tranex Power was engaged by GRS to deliver piling, tracker, and PV module installation. At peak construction, the project employed a significant on-site workforce, executing complex mechanical and electrical interfaces efficiently while maintaining schedule and quality requirements.
Coordination across work fronts and proactive sequencing allowed the team to manage logistical and regional construction challenges, ensuring smooth integration of tracker and module systems and supporting readiness for commissioning.

Tranex Power delivered the project under challenging hard ground conditions, working closely with the client to coordinate access to all open workfaces efficiently. Using our Pre-Construction Methodology, we implemented extensive material management systems and proactive planning to maintain seamless workflow and maximise productivity. Despite initial schedule constraints arising from extended client approval processes, Tranex Power completed the project in a record timeframe, successfully recovering lost time while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and safety.
